This was the very fist thing i released aside from random beats or like a comp track posted here or there. none of the tracks aged well at all. these tracks were my VERY FIRST ATTEMPT at anything breakcore-related. This, along with the entire "corbzdotwav" alias i used marks a very early era of music production for me, the time where id come home from highschool as a freshman to chop amens and download more kicks off of samplefocus. there were quite a bit of things going on through my life during this point, meeting new people, going through relationships, modding my first 3ds, ect. shitty danceocre was all i would listen to back then. "humble beginnings" you could say.

This was back when i ran a little netlabel called "rave corps" (went as "ravergang" for about a month or two). I rleased "midnight sharkrave" as the first release, and this was what came soon after. i was good friends with manglwe who found me off of a youtube tutorial i made forever ago (now goes by manglegirl i think) and lxchee who i found off of a comp. after this was released, i wanted to host a comp. I messaged and promoted it everywhere, soundcloud dms, servers, all kinds of shit. i got 7 submissions and gave up lmao. that along with my discord account getting terminated for saying "im 5" (rendering the discord server everything was organized on useless). thank you to simi, tektheist, joni, breakcorist, and wawawa for submitting! :3

This marks the end of the shitty dancecore era of my producing journey (thank god) hinting at other styles i make now under different aliases. i never actually intended on making another corbzdotwav album until i found all of these files on my moms old laptop. there was a really long period of time where i would make things and never release them which ended up being on that laptop. this album was mainly to put my very first music project to an end. i edited a few of them (see "gangstacat" lmao) for contextual or completion reasons (some of them just needing a bit of polishing). most of the tracks in this album were made during highschool (which fucking sucked)
